25年前的版本
"We Are the World" is a song and charity single originally recorded by the supergroup USA for Africa in 1985. It was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and co-produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian for the album We Are the World.

增強實境技術(AR, Augmented Reality)，是虛擬實境技術（VR , virtual-reality）的延伸。

AR系統採用某些和虛擬實境（virtual reality, VR）一樣的硬體技術，但其中有一項根本的差異：VR企圖取代真實的世界，而AR卻是在實境上擴增資訊。

AR的定義：
Wikipedia敘述有二種普遍的定義─
● Azuma's definition
Ronald Azuma在1997年─A Survey of Augmented Reality─研究中，提出擴增實境有三項必需的屬性：
1. Combines real and virtual (結合虛擬與現實)
2. Interactive in real time(即時性互動)
3. Registered in 3-D(3D定位)

● Milgram's Reality-Virtuality Continuum
Paul Milgram and Fumio Kishino在1994年─Taxonomy of Mixed Reality Visual Displays─研究中描述現實環境到純粹虛擬環境的連續跨距，提出「真實─虛擬連續性」理論，如下圖所示，兩端點分別代表著真實的環境和虛擬的世界，不含兩端點的線段的「連續範圍」就是所謂的擴增實境。若是比較靠近「真實」端者，即「真實」的成份高於「虛擬」者，則稱之「擴增實境」(Augmented Reality)，相對而言，如果是「虛擬」之比例較高時，則稱之為「擴增虛境」(Augmented Virtuality)(魏綺亭，陳依琦，2009)。
